Madinda says, team needs to work hard to maintain good performance

Highlanders Technical Manager Madinda Ndlovu says his side still have a lot to improve to make sure they maintain the performance they displayed against Dynamos on Thursday.

Bosso beat the Glamour Boys 2-0 to clinch the 2019 Independence Cup.

The Bulawayo Giants who had not won a game since the league started dominated the possession throughout the game and got their goals from the Bukhosi Sibanda in the 49th minute and Tinashe Makanda on minute 75.

“We still have got to work hard and try and make sure that our players get to enjoy this type of football that they played today because that is our trademark type of football, the passing game,” said Madinda after the match.

“If they are really fit to the levels that we want them to be then we can enjoy more than what we saw today.’’

Madinda also added that the team will not be carried away by the result, and will now focus on the league.

“We will forget about this and start preparing for the Triangle game which is important for us,” he added.

The game is on Monday at Barbourfields Stadium.
