Hwange aggrieved

Hwange were aggrieved after losing their winning run, going down 2-0 to FC Platinum at Mandava Stadium on Saturday.

Chipangano questioned referee Norman Matemera’s decisions, insinuating that the Harare based referee aided the champions to the victory which saw them shoot to the top of the log standings.

“Look at the first goal, it was an infringement on the goalkeeper. The second goal, it was a soft call, we had similar calls but were ignored. These referees are killing us,” said Hwange coach Nation Dube.

Hwange dominated the match but could not find the formula to crack the FC Platinum defence. The champions utilised the chances that came their way with Farai Madhananga and Never Tigere scoring in either half.

The coal miners who are returning into the premier league had won their opening three matches beating Yadah, Dynamos and Ngezi Platinum Stars.
