Everything was in shambles, reveals Ndiraya after taking over at Dynamos

Dynamos coach Tonderai Ndiraya says his charges lacked confidence ahead of Sunday’s match which marked his second coming after taking over from Lloyd Chigowe last week.

The Glamour Boys played to a 1-1 draw against TelOne at Barbourfields Stadium to end a four-match losing streak across all competitions.

The Harare side who finished the game with ten men after Godfrey Mukambi received a red card wasted a couple of chances and went to the break trailing behind after defender Munyaradzi Mawadza deflected the ball past his keeper.

Cameroonian Vincent Mbega, however, got the equaliser and could have secured the winner later on but his effort from a setpiece hit the upright.

“When I took over, the boys were shattered, and naturally when you go for four games on a losing streak, it destroys your confidence,” the gaffer told Dembare TV.

“I took (over) a team which was short in confidence and in shambles. We had not done much in terms of tactical preparations and if you remember I took over last week and when I got there the attitude was just horrible.”

The Glamour Boys return to action this Sunday when they face ZPC Kariba at Rufaro Stadium.
