Man United’s hopes for top-4 finish revived

Manchester United’s hopes of finishing in the top 4 have been brought back to life after nine-man Tottenham Hotspur were shocked 1-0 by Bournemouth on Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side would have secured a Champions League spot if they had beaten Bournemouth but were dealt a huge blow after Son Heung-Min and Juan Foyth received straight red cards.

The result has boosted United’s chances of a top-four finish as the race now looks set to go to the wire should the Red Devils manage to beat Huddersfield this afternoon. The Ole Gunner Solsjkaer’s men have 65 points going into today’s match, five behind Spurs.

Arsenal who are in the fifth position and fourth-placed Chelsea are the other teams in contention.
