The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League entered Match-day 6 and there were several talking points from the weekend’s action. Here are our five takeaways from Round 6.

Dynamos return to winning ways
Dynamos finally remembered how to win after they edged ZPC Kariba by a goal to nil at Rufaro in new coach Tonderai Ndiraya’s homecoming game. The Glamour Boys had gone for five games across all competitions without a win.

CAPS United close the gap
CAPS United moved to within a point behind log leaders FC Platinum following their 1-0 victory over Harare City. They are now on 13 points but with a game in hand.

Highlanders still rooted in red zone
Highlanders slumped a place down to 16th position after playing to a goalless draw against Hwange at Barbourfields Stadium.

ZPC Kariba streak halted
ZPC Kariba’s four-match winning run came to an end after losing 1-0 to Dynamos. Kauya Katuruturu also dropped to 5th position.

Herentals hold FC Platinum
FC Platinum dropped points for the second time this season after playing to a goalless draw against Herentals at Mandava Stadium on Saturday. The reigning champions, however, remain on top of the table with fourteen points from six matches.
