CLPSL Preview: Triangle vs CAPS United

Triangle United coach Taurai Mangwiro will be hoping of bouncing back from two consecutive defeats when his side meets his former paymasters CAPS United in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Match-day 7 encounter at Gibbo Stadium this afternoon.

The Sugar Boys lost against Chapungu and Black Rhinos in successive weeks and will have to regroup if they want to entertain any chances of handing the Lloyd Chitembwe-coached side their first defeat this season.

Triangle should also be wary of the Green Machine’s speedy attackers and among them is their former player Phineas Bamusi who spent the previous campaign with the before rejoining the Harare club at the start of this year.

CAPS, on the other hand, went within a point of FC Platinum last week after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Harare City and will be looking to continue their impressive start to the season.

The last meeting between the two teams in favour of the Lowveld outfit who also managed a double over their opponents and equalled the number victories in the tie.

Both sides now have four wins from the twelve encounters.
