Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech is reportedly set to return his former club Chelsea as a sporting director when he retires from playing football after the Europa final.
Sky Sports News and other British media announced the news on Tuesday but the 37-year-old Cech responded to the reports by tweeting: “Despite the news today as I had already said to everybody before, I’ll make (a) decision about my future after the last game. Now my sole focus is to win the EL with @Arsenal”.
Cech spent eleven seasons at Stamford Bridge before moving to Arsenal in 2015.
The former Czech Republic international will play the final minutes of his career in the Europa final against the Blues in Baku, Azerbaijan on May 29.
