Highlanders won’t be intimidated by history: Madinda

Highlanders coach Madinda Ndlovu says his charges will not be intimidated by history when they welcome ZPC Kariba at Barbourfields Stadium in Match-day 10 on Sunday.

Bosso have struggled against their northern opponents, managing only two wins while losing seven times in the ten meetings since 2014.

Speaking at a presser ahead of the Sunday’s encounter, the coach said the team will go into the match targeting maximum points after winning their first game of the season last week.

“We are an organisation that has been in this for a long time so we still take every game differently,” said Madinda.

“What were the circumstances in last season’s games are not going to be the same kind of circumstances this time.

“When we played ZPC (Kariba) last season we were walking like flamboyant boys because we were winning our games, and this time we are going to play them from a situation whereby we desperately need those points, so I don’t think it is going to be the same scenario.

“It’s going to be a different ball game altogether,” he added.
