Two S.A giants after Rusike – Report

Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly pursuing the signature of Zimbabwean forward Evans Rusike who plays for SuperSport United.

Rusike made 24 league appearances in the 2018/19 season, scoring five goals for the Pretoria-based club.

According to reports in South Africa, Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp is said to have made the Warriors striker a top target after his side’s struggles in front of goal in the recently concluded campaign.

Sundowns are also looking to sign the player to cover up for Jeremy Brockie who has failed to hit top form since his arrival last year.

The two interested teams, however, will have to table a big offer for the 28-year-old striker who has a long-term deal at SuperSport United.
