Sarri informs Chelsea board he wants to leave – Report

Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri has reportedly informed the club’s hierarchy that he wants to leave.

The Italian gaffer, who led the Blues to an emphatic 4-1 victory over Arsenal in the Europa League final on Wednesday, is said to have notified his bosses of his decision on Friday, amid interest from Serie A champions Juventus.

Reports in Italy even indicate that Sarri met Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and the latter informed the former that she would speak to club owner Roman Abramovich over the coach’s future.

Sarri arrived in London ahead of the 2018/19 season and guided the Blues to the Carabao Cup final in February and also sealed a Champions League berth in May, but despite all that, fans of the club have not been satisfied with his type of football.
