We take the blame for losing to Yadah: Madinda

Highlanders coach Madinda Ndlovu says they have themselves to blame after losing 1-0 to Yadah at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday.

Bosso dominated the play but failed to get a goal, and were punished by Tafadzwa Makahlera who netted the winner on the 40th minute, a few moments after Ralph Matema was denied to break the deadlock from the spot.

The Stars were awarded a penalty after Nqobizitha Masuku handled the ball inside the box.

“In today’s game, we lost to ourselves, we dominated the play but tactically we were not sound,” said Madinda.

“We have numerous chances probably more than we have created before. But if luck is not on your side, it is not on your side.

“I don’t blame the players, they did extremely good, it’s a game we count as not our day and we move forward.”

Highlanders will now shift their focus on the big game coming up against Dynamos next weekend.
