There is nothing special about Egypt-Mapeza

FC Platinum coach and former Warriors mentor Norman Mapeza belives the Pharoahs  of Egypt, whom Zimbabwe play in the opening AFCON game, are a beatable oponent.

Mapeza, who took charge of the Warriors’ first game of the qualifying campaign, said the Pharaohs are the ones who are under pressure to win since they will be infront of their fans and Sunday Chidzambwa’s troops only need to be composed.

“The guys don’t have to put themselves under pressure. It is actually the Egyptians who will be under pressure playing in front of their own fans. This tournament is about mental strength and the boys should just be strong mentally and not put themselves under any pressure. They did well to qualify to this stage of the tournament and there is nothing special about Egypt.” said Mapeza according to NewsDay.

The Warriors and the Pharoahs roar AFCON 2019 into life at the Cairo International Stadium on Friday.
