A number of Warriors players did not take part in the training session held at El sekka-el hadid SC Stadium on Saturday night.

The technical team decided to offer rest to those who started in the game against Egypt on Friday, and these include the likes of captain Knowledge Musona, Khama Billiat, Marvelous Nakamba, Teenage Hadebe, Tendayi Darikwa and Ovidy Karuru.

Goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda who picked a knee injury during the encounter and was subbed off in the second half also missed the session.

Those who started from the bench went through the paces last night with coach Sunday Chidzambwa and his assistants Lloyd Mutasa and Rahman Gumbo present at the session.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper George Chigova is expected to be in goals for Zimbabwe against Uganda on Wednesday after serving his yellow card suspension.

The match starts at 7 pm CAT at Cairo International Stadium.
