Gabriel Nyoni will undergo trials at South African top-flight team Maritzburg United.

The speedy winger left the country on Sunday and will start his three-month trial stint today to the end of September.

Reports in the past week had suggested that negotiations between CAPS United and Maritzburg were at an advanced stage as the South African team wants to sign the player.

Nyoni has made a huge impact since arriving at Makepekepe ahead of the 2019 season, scoring five goals and making three assists in twelve games.
