Milton Ncube’s departure at Harare City leaves Mathe disappointed

Milton ‘Milito’ Ncube recently dumped Harare City to join his family in the United Kingdom and club’s assistant coach Mark Mathe is disappointed at losing the experienced player.

Ncube who joined the Sunshine Boys from Caps United this season was a versatile player who could play either as a left back or as a forward.

“It’s a disappointment that we lost Milton Ncube who left to be with his family,” said Mathe.

“He just left, and we now need to sit down with head coach Mark Harrison to see whether we are going to go for a replacement.

Ncube also played for a number of clubs which includes Shooting Stars, Highlanders, How Mine and Caps United.

It was at Bosso where he rose to stardom earning call-ups to the Warriors and subsequently moved to Ajax Cape Town in the South African Premier League.

He joins former players like Joe Mugabe, Memory Mucherahohwa, Chamu Musanhu, Obey Murefu, Tichaona Nyenda, Brian Badza, Bheki Mhlothswa, Maxwell Dube among others who left for the UK to look for greener pastures.
