Mark Harrison leaves Harare City

Harare City coach Mark Harrison has left the club after spending a year-and-a-half in charge.

The gaffer was not on the bench in the Sunday’s 1-1 with TelOne and the club’s Chief executive Tafadzwa Bhasera has confirmed that Harrison has indeed resigned from his position.

“Our head coach, Mark Harrison, has left his post. He has his own reasons and we had to respect that. We would like to thank him for the work he did for the team in the past one and a half years he has been in charge.

“We wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” Bhasera told the Herald.

Meanwhile, assistant coach Mark Mathe will take over the team on an interim basis.
