Alvin Zhakata has arrived in Cairo, Egypt, ten days after Zimbabwe’s Afcon campaign came to an end.
The national team fan had taken a road trip from Cape Town in South Africa across Africa to support the Warriors at the tournament which is currently underway in Egypt.
However, his adventure was marred by many challenges including a five-day delay at the Kenya-Ethiopia border.
Zhakata’s South African counterpart Msila Botha gave up at this point, and took a flight to Egypt, leaving him to finish the journey alone.
The Warriors fan arrived in Cairo this afternoon.
