Chipezeze’s club Baroka signs new keeper

Elvis Chipezeze’s team, Baroka, has signed a new goalkeeper ahead of the new season.

The new signing is a 30-year old Namibia international Loydt Kazapua.

A statement on the club’s official Twitter account reads: “Baroka FC signed number one Namibian international goalkeeper, Loydt Kazapua. Welcome come home Moroka.”

Kazapua’s arrival comes at a time Chipezeze is battling with match-fixing allegations.

The Zimbabwean is being accused of selling the result in the Warriors’ 4-0 loss to DRC at the 2019 Afcon.

His coach at Baroka, Wedson Nyirenda, has tried to stand by him but the accusations seem to be weighing too much on the keeper who has since approached his lawyer as part of the efforts to clear his name.
