Seedorf sacked as Cameroon coach – report

Clarence Seedorf has reportedly been sacked as the national team coach of Cameroon.

The West African country’s Sports Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi announced the news on national television, according to Ugandan journalist Usher Komugisha.

Kombi accused Seedorf of “failing to manage the team” including having problems with his assistant Patrick Kluivert.

Seerdof was appointed the coach in August 2018 with fellow countryman Patrick Kluivert as his assistant.

The Dutchman’s alleged sacking follows after the Indomitable Lions, who were the defending champions, lost to Nigeria in the round of 16 to crush out of the 2019 Afcon.

Meanwhile, the Cameroonian FA is yet to issue a statement regarding the issue.
