The Council of Southern African Football Associations (COSAFA) has dismissed the Felton Kamambo-led ZIFA’s proposal to recall Philip Chiyangwa from the regional body’s presidency.

ZIFA accuse Chiyangwa of ‘sabotage’ and ‘destabilizing’ the Warriors at AFCON 2019, and had called for his recalling from the COSAFA presidency.

COSAFA however wrote to ZIFA today telling the national association that it has no right whatsoever to recall Chiyangwa from the presidency despite his nationality.

The Kamambo-led administration was also warned by COSAFA not to subcontract their domestic problems at the regional body.
