Arrival of Moyo twins a boost to the club: Chippa United

Absa Premiership club Chippa United have unveiled former FC Platinum defensive pair of Kevin and Elvis Moyo as their new players.

The twin brothers join the club following a successful trial stint at the start of this month.

In a statement posted on the club’s official Facebook page, Chippa described the arrival of the duo as a boost to their aspirations of finishing the campaign in Top 8.

“The arrival of gifted Zimbabwean international twins Kevin and Elvis Moyo has reasserted Chippa United’s intentions to finish in the Top 8 in the upcoming season,” reads the statement.

“The Moyo twins, who play at centre back and left-back respectively, were signed from Zimbabwean football giants, FC Platinum.”

Chippa United have also announced other new signings which include Mzikayise Mashaba, Diamond Thopola, Meshack Maphangule and young defender Sandile Mthethwa.

Other foreign arrivals are Nigerian striker Augustine Kwem and Burundian centre back Freddy Nsabiyumva.
