Real Madrid coach Zinadine Zidane has sent a congratulatory message to Algeria, for clinching the AFCON 2019 title last night.

The Desert Foxes beat Senegal by a goal to nil for the second time in the tournament and consequently became African champions and Zidane, who reportedly has Algerian roots, congratulated them through an Instagram post.

“My big brother Farid must be proud. Congratulations to the team of Algeria, the victory of a whole people, one, two, three, Viva Algeria! ,” posted the Frenchman on his Instagram.
