Former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has hinted returning on the touchline soon and says he misses football a lot.

The Portuguese tactician was sacked as United manager last year and has not been in football management since, something which according to Sky Sports, is about to change.

“I have had some time to think, to re-think and analyze. My friends always tell me to enjoy what I never had (a free July and August without preparation for a new season) but I can’t enjoy because I’m not happy enough to enjoy,” Mourinho said.

“I miss my football and the fire it brings but I have to wait for the right one (offer to manage a club) and that has been the most difficult thing for me,” he added.
