Aston Villa has confirmed Marvelous Nakamba’s arrival at the club.
The midfielder joins the EPL side from Club Brugge for undisclosed fee.
Villa confirmed the signing in statement posted on the club’s official website on Thursday.
“Aston Villa is delighted to announce the signing of Marvelous Nakamba from Club Brugge,” read the statement.
“The 24-year-old midfielder joins the club for an undisclosed fee.”
Nakamba becomes the latest Zimbabwean to play in the English topflight league after the likes of Benjani Mwaruwari, Peter Ndlovu and Bruce Grobbelaar.
Villa’s head coach Dean Smith said: “Marvelous fits the criteria of the type of player we were looking for.
“He’s very mobile, he’s very good in possession and he will fit in with our style of play.”
