Sweswe sees great potential in new signings

FC Platinum assistant coach Lizwe Sweswe was satisfied with the performance of the team’s new signings against Caps United on Saturday.

The Platinum Boys fielded Tawana Chikore, Keith Madera and Guvye Nsiala while Rodwell Chinyengetere who arrived as a loanee from Baroka FC last month also started in the first XI.

Speaking after the game, Sweswe admitted that the new players had brought a positive change in the team.

“They are not new to football but are only new to this team and the way we want football to be played.

“They are very good players and I think they have improved our team. However, it is still too early to make such conclusions,” said Sweswe.

The match against Caps United, played at Mandava Stadium, ended in a stalemate.

Despite failing to score, both sides put an exciting show in the middle park with their passing game and quick transitions.
