FC Platinum managed to hold Callisto Pasuwa’s Nyasa Big Bullets to a goalless draw in the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round played at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyer, Malawi.

The Zimbabwe champions faced logistical glitches on their way to the host city which caused a delay to their first training session at the match venue until 5 pm yesterday evening.

The match saw the return of coach Norman Mapeza who missed the team’s last games due to an illness.

The second leg will be played next week at a venue yet to be decided.
