Return fixture will be totally different, says Mangwiro

Triangle United coach Taurai Mangwiro knows the task ahead of them in the reverse fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round encounter against Rukinzo of Burundi.

The Sugar Boys secured a huge advantage in the tie after cruising to a 5-0 triumph in the first leg played at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

Allen Tavarwisa hit a brace inside the first half hour of the game before Ralph Kaondera stretched the lead on the stroke of half time.

Timothy January and substitute Nyasha Chintuli sealed the win in the second half.

Speaking at his post-match presser, Mangwiro played down the victory as he said the second leg will be a totally different game.

“It’s a comfortable lead that we got but playing in Burundi will be a totally different game altogether and anything less than a convincing performance will give them some hope,” said the coach.

The return fixture is scheduled for this coming weekend in Bujumbura.
