Ndiraya happy to get point at Colliery

Dynamos coach Tonderai Ndiraya was pleased by his charges’ performance in the 2-2 draw against Hwange on Sunday.

The match had a 21-minute stoppage early in the second half after violence broke out among the fans of both sides.

Speaking after the encounter, Ndiraya said: “Hwange is always a difficult place to come and get a result and I pay tribute to the boys for the fighting spirit. To come back from behind twice is commendable.”

The hosts were leading 1-0 at the time the game was stopped courtesy of an own goal by keeper Munyaradzi Diya.

Dembare restored parity through Godknows Murwira soon after the play resumed but Hwange quickly regained the lead after Shepherd Gahadzikwa hit the target with a header.

Evans Katema levelled terms later in the match as it ended on a stalemate.
