CAPS United names new coach

CAPS United have appointed a new coach to replace Lloyd Chitembwe who left the club to join cross-town rivals Harare City.

The Green Machine’s president Farai Jere announced on Tuesday the appointment of Darlington Dodo who was an assistant during Chitembwe’s tenure.

“We would like to advice the Caps United family and the football family at large that we will miss coach Lloyd Chitembwe because obviously he is our son who has been with us for a long time…,” Jere told the club’s media.

“At the moment coach Dodo is going to be responsible for the technical team. He is a qualified guy, he has got all the papers and it’s all about the the support.”

Dodo’s first assignment in charge will be against Chapungu on Saturday.
