Mamelodi Sundowns might still be interested in Khama Billiat if coach Pitso Mosimane’s recent suggestions are anything to go by.

The Absa Premiership champions made it clear a few weeks ago that they want to re-sign their former player, but Kaizer Chiefs warded off the interest and threatened to take action against their rivals.

And now, with just days before the transfer window close, Pitso has hinted they might make another move to sign the player.

According to Soccer Laduma, the coach said: “You know the players we want, and we can’t get them – for now.

“I don’t know, maybe we will try again, and we have to push. You know that anything is possible in football, and that’s just the way it is.”

Meanwhile, Billiat returned to the team and played in his first league match of the season on Saturday.

He missed the opening part of the campaign due to an injury he picked during the 2019 Afcon.
