We slept on duty: Ndiraya

Dynamos coach says his charges slept on duty which saw them surrendering their lead and settle for a draw against Chicken Inn on Sunday.

The Glamour Boys went to the break leading 1-0, thanks to a goal by Nigel Katawa on the half hour.

The Gamecocks managed to restore the parity with only ten minutes left before the full-time courtesy of Valentine Kadonzvo’s effort.

Speaking after the match, Ndiraya said: “We appeared to be cruising to victory but again we lacked that mental strength.

“We had it in our grasp but some casual display towards the end, including some sloppy marking in the defensive third, saw us conceding late in the game.”

The result saw Dynamos recording their second successive draw, having played in a 2-2 stalemate with Hwange in the previous round.
