Tinotenda Kadewere was again the star man over the weekend when he scored a brace for his French Ligue 2 side Le Havre in a 3-1 victory over Grenoble.

The 23-year-old striker netted the team’s first two goals in first-half to take his total to eight goals in five games. He has surpassed his last’s season tally across all competitions and is the current leading goalscorer in the league.

Another Warrior based in France, Marshall Munetsi made a return to the Stade de Reims squad after recovering from an ankle injury but was an unused substitute in the 1-0 defeat to Brest in the Ligue 1.

In Wales, Alec Mudimu was on target on Friday, netting in Cefn Druids’ 3-1 victory over Airbus UK in the top-flight league.

The 24-year-old who is employed as a midfielder in the team scored from the spot in the 37th minute and the goal was his first of the season.

Marvelous Nakamba’s league debut at his new club Aston Villa was again delayed.

Nakamba was left out of the Villa’s match-day squad for the 2-0 victory over Everton in the EPL. The 25-year-old’s absence is due to match fitness and adaption, having joined the team a week before the start of the campaign.

Macauley Bonne was an unused substitute when Charlton Athletic beat Brentford 1-0 in the Championship. The 23-year-old made his league debut last week against Barnsley.

In Belgium, Knowledge Musona was again overlooked in the Anderlecht squad that lost 1-0 at Genk.

The 29-year-old is still to make his season debut at the Belgian giants.
