After arriving in France in August last year, Zimbabwean striker Tinotenda Kadewere has found himself in the history books.

The 23-year-old scored his eighth goal in five games last weekend to surpass his last season’s tally and set a new personal best since joining Ligue 2 side Le Havre.

According to French website France Bleu, Kadewere’s scoring ratio in this campaign has also seen him equaling a record set by Abraham Gneki Guié at Tours in the 2010/2011 season.

The Ivorian, however, struggled in the following games and ended the season with 13 goals.

This is something the Zimbabwean striker will be praying to avoid as he hopes to finish the campaign on top of the scoring chart.

Meanwhile, Kadewere’s momentum could be interrupted in this Friday’s game against Caen due to a minor knock. He has spent the whole week training under the supervision of the medical team.
