The final lists of the nominees for The Best FIFA Awards 2019 have been revealed.
Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk will battle out Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo in the Men’s Player of the Year.
The trio have been named as the final three in category after a 10-man shortlist including Harry Kane, Eden Hazard, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah was whittled down on Monday.
For the Men’s Coach of the Year award, the finalists are Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino .
The winners will be revealed at an award ceremony set for Milan, Italy on September 23.
