Another MTN8 final for Kaitano Tembo

Kaitano Tembo reached MTN8 final for the second successive year as head coach of SuperSport United after beating 3-1 on aggregate on Wednesday night.

The tie had drawn 1-1 in the first leg but United managed to overcome Masandawana 2-0 in the return fixture.

Teboho Mokoena opened the scoring on the night in the 12th minute before second-half substitute Jamie Webber sealed the victory in the 85th minute.

SuperSport United will now face Highlands Park in the final that will be played on 5 October at Orlando Stadium.

Meanwhile, the encounter will present Tembo with another chance of winning his first silverware since taking over the club at the start of the 208/19 season.

His first final ended in a 4-1 penalty shootout defeat to Cape Town City.
