Highlanders coach Mandla Mpofu has predicted a tough derby encounter against Bulawayo Chiefs at Barbourfields Stadium this afternoon.
Both sides are fighting to survive relegation with Bosso just a point away from the drop zone while Chiefs have in recent times found a way out to safety.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Mpofu is aware of the threat Amakhosi pose considering their run which has seen them losing once in the last five games.
“It’s not going to be an easy game. It’s a derby. We are playing a team that you can take lightly at your own peril. We lost one game and beat them in the other last year,” he said, according to NewsDay.
“It’s a team that is fighting to avoid relegation just like us. It’s a must-win for both sides. Derbies are always a problem, but at this point in time, we really need those points desperately.”
Kick-off is at 3 pm.
