Willard Katsande made a rare start under Ernest Middendorp for Kaizer Chiefs in a Khama Billiat inspired 2-0 win over Golden Arrows.

Billiat was involved in both Amakhosi’s goals and consequently named man of the match as Chiefs registered their third consecutive win on the trot.

Edmore Sibanda was in goal for Arrows while his Warriors teammates Knox Mutizwa, Devine Lunga and Danny ‘Deco’ Phiri all started for Abafana Bes’thende.

Talent Chawapihwa and Ovidy Karuru both started for Amazulu as Usuthu registered their first win of the campaign in a dramatic 2-1 win over Cape Town City.

The Moyo twins; Kelvin and Elvis, both started for Chippa United in ther 1-0 loss to Terrence Dzakamanja’s Bidvest Wits.

Cuthbert Malajila came on as a second half substitute for Black Leopards against his former paymasters Mamelodi Sundowns, who won the game 2-1.

George Chigova was between the sticks for Polokwane City as they succumbed to a 2-0 loss at home to Stellenbosch.

Elvis Chipezeze was also in goal for Baroka, who lost 1-0 to Maritzburg United, a game in which both Gabriel Nyoni and Clive Augusto were unused substitutes.
