CAPS United coach Darlington Dodo has urged his team to remain humble after extending their lead on top of the table on Sunday.

The Green Machine beat Mushowani Stars 2-1 and moved to 47 points, five clear of second-placed Chicken Inn.

Kelvin Ndebele scored the opening goal in the 13th minute before Dominic Chungwa doubled the lead in the 84th minute.

Mushowani got their consolation from Blessing Phiri right on the stroke of full-time.

“We take that (the result), but we need to remain humble and focus on our games just like the way we have been doing. We have to keep working hard,” Dodo said after the match.

CAPS United’s remaining fixtures include a derby encounter against rivals Dynamos, a clash with fellow title-chasers FC Platinum and ZPC Kariba.
