Zimbabwean players abroad: Weekly performance review

Football fans all over the world were as ussual glued to their television sets to watch action from leagues across the globe and here is how Zimbabwean players fared for their respective outfits.

Tino Kadewere’s Le Havre was on the receiving end of a 2-0 beating by Benjani Mwaruwari’s former club AJ Auxere on Saturday. The former Harare City man has not scored for the French Ligue 2 side for the last two games.

Still in France, Marshall Munetsi came off the bench to help his Stade de Reims defeat Rennes by a goal to nil.

In England, Marvellous Nakamba continues to impress after yet another impressive display in helping Aston Villa thrash Norwich 5-1 at Carrow Road. The former Brugge man earned   a 9 out of 10 rating from Birmingham Mail journalist Ashely Preece, justifiably so considering his flawless performance on Saturday.

In the Championship, the English second tier division, Macauley Bonne scored for  Charlton Athetic in their entertaining 2-2 draw with Fulham.

Teenage Hadebe was back in Yeni Malatyspor  ‘s starting eleven in their 5-1 win over Denizlispor. He played the entire 90 minutes.
