Tricky CAF C.L draw for FC Platinum as Triangle discover opponents in Confed Cup play-offs

FC Platinum and Triangle United discovered their opponents in the next rounds of the CAF inter-club competitions following a draw held in Egypt on Wednesday.

Triangle were drawn against FC Nouadhibou of Mauritania in the play-offs of the Confederation Cup.

Nouadhibou were relegated from the Champions League after losing 6-1 on aggregate to Wydad Casablanca.

The first leg of the tie will be played in Mauritania on the 27th of this month and the return fixture is scheduled for November 3 in Bulawayo.

The winner will progress through to the group stages.

In the Champions League draw, FC Platinum were handed tricky opponents in the group stages. They were placed in Group B along with North African giants Al- Hilal of Sudan, Etoile Du Sahel (Tunisia) and Al Ahly of Egypt.
