Billiat comments on upcoming clash with Sundowns

Warriors star Khama Billiat has commented on his side’s upcmoming blockbuster ABSA Premiership clash with Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.

The two giants meet at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, a place where Billiat made a name for himself while still with the Brazilians prior to his move to Amakhosi.

The 29-year old however insists  that he does not have anything to prove to his former paymasters.

“Do I owe them? No, I don’t owe them. I don’t want to say I was born ready, but I just love playing football and when I get injured, I get so worried,” said Billiat according to Kick Off Magazine.

“So, when I have a chance to play football, I love it so much.”

The Zimbabwean winger also refused to accept credit for Chiefs’ win against Masandawana in the Shell Helix Cup recently, when he and Castro shared the goals in a 4-2 win at the FNB Stadium.

“It was Kaizer Chiefs, it wasn’t us. Everyone worked hard as you saw, and on the day, everyone tried to be on their best form,” he said.
