We can bounce back against Zambia: Antipas

Warriors coach Joey Antipas says his charges but lacked precision in front of the goal on Friday but believes they can bounce back against Zambia on Tuesday.

Zimbabwe started their 2021 Afcon qualifying campaign with a goalless draw against Botswana at National Sports Stadium.

Speaking after the match, the coach said: “They created numerous chances but we failed to score.

“We were lacking the cutting edge in attack but overall l think we played well, had chances and dominated but it’s all about putting the ball behind the nets.”

Antipas believes the team can rectify their faults and pick maximum points against Zambia in the second Group H encounter.

“All we need is to keep our heads up and try rectify for our game against Zambia on Tuesday,” he said.
