In a desperate bid to have their AFCON 2021 qualifying campaign back on track after the humiliating defeat to Algeria, the Zambian duo of Patson and Enock Mwepu have been ropped in for Tuesday’s clash against Zimbabwe.

Chipolopolo host the Warriors after a 5-0  drubbing at the hands of the Desert Foxes, what many have described as Zambian football’s darkest hour since that 1993 plain crash tragedy.

Reports coming in from Zambia indicate that Daka and Mwepu, who both play for Austrian Bundesliga side Red Bull Salzburg, will now be drafted into the senior team after having been excused due to their participation in the AFCON U-23 which double up as Olympic qualifiers.

The two neighbors meet on Tuesday at the National Heroes Stadium at 18:00hrs with both looking to revive their campaigns after Zimbabwe themselves played out a disappointing goalless draw with Botswana yesterday.
