Former Nigerian Super Eagles midfielder John Obi Mikel has described Belgian star Eden Hazard as ‘the laziest player he has ever played with.’

The two players played together at English giants Chelsea before Mikel moved to Turkey while Hazard remained behind in London before joining Spanish giants Real Madrid, where he has not had the best of starts.

“The laziest player I have played alongside is Eden Hazard,” Mikel told beIN Sports in Turkey,” Mikel told Bein Sports. 

“He didn’t like to train hard. While we were working he was waiting for us to finish training just standing there. But on Sundays he was always man of the match, it was unbelievable.” he added
