Zimbabweans might have screamed angrily at the Warriors after a disapointing display against Botswana at the National Sports Stadium on November 15 but few even considered to include the bumby pitch as at least one of the reasons.

The state of the pitch at the gaint stadium is a cause for concern and the rains which poured in Harare prior to the Botswana game did not help the cause either.

Members of the team might not have publicly denounced the the uneven and rugged turf but some of them reportedly urged the authorities after the Zebras clash to fix it, as it was it’s “worst state ever.”

Now, with the Harare derby between title-chasing CAPS United and bitter rivals Dynamos looming, it doesn’t get any better, with reports suggesting that a church service will be held on the pitch 24 hours before the mouthwatering clash.
