The English FA found the Portugal international guilty of an aggravated breach of rules.

“He has been accused of something he is not,” said Guardiola at his presser ahead of the Chelsea’s clash.

“He will be careful to use social media. If this can help to do a better society, OK. I am pretty sure Bernardo accept this punishment.

“But he is not like he has been accused. They don’t know him.”

City will face Chelsea at the Etihad, with the London club one point and one place above them in the Premier League table.
