Warriors skipper Knowledge Musona continues to be on the sidelines at his Belgian outfit RSC Anderlecht after he was yet again left out of the matchday squad for yesterday’s game with Kortrijk.
Anderlecht played out a goalless draw with the the 13th-placed side but just like since the season commenced, there was no sign of the ‘Smiling Assasin’ in proceedings.
The 29-year-old captained the Warriors in their first win of the AFCON 2021 qualifying campaign, a 2-1 victory over Zambia, which he assisted both goals for Khama Billiat.
Musona’s future at the club still remains shrouded in uncertainty as Anderlecht rarely provide any detail regarding the Zimbabwe international, whose only contribution to the the club of late is fulfilling his contractual obligations by reporting for training.
