Warriors star Khama Billiat has returned to full fitness and is part of the Kaizer Chiefs squad that made the trip to Cape Town for today’s ABSA Premiership clash with Stellenbosch.

The 29-year-old did not take part in Amakhosi’s Telkom Knockout defeat to Maritzburg United due to a hamstring issue, which saw coach Ernst Middendorp complain over the manner in which the Warriors technical department handled the player’s fitness during two AFCON 2021 qualifiers against Botswana and Zambia.

Chiefs arrived in Cape Town yesterday for the clash, with fans scrambling to take pictures with the Zimbabwe international as he looks set to return to action tonight.

Amakhosi are seven clear points clear at the top of the table after Sundowns’ 1-0 win over Amazulu last night and they could restore their 10-point gap with a win in the mother city this evening.
