Marshall Munetsi is in Stade de Reims squad to face Nimes in the French Ligue 1 this afternoon.

The midfielder failed to travel to Zimbabwe during the international break after picking up a knock in the game against Lens. The Warriors were facing Algeria in back-to-back Afcon qualifiers.

Not convinced with the medical issue, ZIFA wrote to Reims demanding the player’s release for further assessment but the club refused to bow down to pressure.

Munetsi is now set to return to action at 4 pm CAT after recovering from the minor injury.

He has featured in the squad ten times this season, starting in nine of those games.
