Staunch Zimbabwe Warriors supporter Alvin ‘Aluvah’ Zhakata is still in pain but stable, a relative of his has revealed.

Aluvah was attacked by thugs on Saturday, sustained injuries and was taken to Parirenyatwa Hospital where doctors initially sought to determine the extent of the wounds.

Information gathered by Soccer24 this morning indicated that Zhakata has right sided pneumothorax (partial lung collapse which occurs when air leaks from the lung to the space between lung and chest wall, causing shortness of breath or difficulty in breathing) as well as three broken ribs.

The relative of his who visited him at the hospital said he is still in pain but stable and doctors are confident there will be progress soon.
